JBS USA Investment Upgrades Beardstown Marina
As a river town, having a full-service marina area means enhanced quality of life for residents, and a tourism draw for the community. Specifically, the JBS USA’s $310,000 portion of the $1 million total budget will allow for the addition of camping spots in the high-water area, cottages to rent, a playground, gazebos and rescue equipment, making this a much-improved attraction in Beardstown. Overall, the project will also include better boat access, camping spots, restrooms, a pavilion and kayak launch.
