JBS USA Investment Will Support Renovations to Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center

The Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center provides food, clothing, utility assistance and many other services to families of Moore County – not just those who are pregnant. For example, the organization partners with JBS USA every year on a Back to School Backpack School Supply Drive, Bundle Up Cactus Coat Drive, Shop With a Cop and many food distribution events. This JBS USA gift will help with renovations to the center to provide a clean, safe, welcoming environment for families to receive services.

Thanks to the JBS USA and Pilgrim’s Hometown Strong initiative, Texas will have even more support and greater access to crucial resources as we respond to COVID-19. This $6.5 million investment will help strengthen community infrastructure, provide additional COVID-19 response and relief resources, and help alleviate food insecurity. I am grateful to JBS USA and Pilgrim’s for their commitment to supporting their hard working employees, as well as their communities.
