JBS USA Donation Provides 12-months of Internet Access to Students, Families for Online Learning

As a result of the pandemic, Greeley schools have had to close schools and ask teachers and students to participate in online learning. For some families, however, internet access has created hurdles to learning. In partnership with Comcast and the Success Foundation, JBS USA is providing free internet to children in the Greeley-Evans School District 6 for 12 months to support hybrid and online learning structures.

Weld County could not ask for a better community partner than JBS. From their continuous support of the Weld Food Bank's efforts to feed those combatting food insecurity to their generous donations to the United Way of Weld County, their heart for the people of Weld County is obvious. That caring begins with their employees, as witnessed by the substantial investment made by JBS in terms of bonuses and wages paid to Greeley beef team members, as well as the physical improvements made to the facility to safeguard team members during the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm incredibly thankful for JBS' belief in the communities and people of Weld County.
