JBS USA Investment Will Help Clinic Overcome COVID-19 Budgetary Burdens

Health care facilities all over the country have encountered unforeseen expenses as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. This JBS USA investment will help alleviate some of those extra costs for the Helping Hands Clinic. This clinic provides primary care services, chronic disease management and education to uninsured patients.

Partner: Helping Hands Clinic in association with Caldwell UNC Health, Caldwell Health Department, West Caldwell Health Council and the NC Association of Free & Charitable Clinics
Target Completion Date: 2020, with support for PPE, medical supplies, and patient care and education ongoing through 2022

I recently toured the Lenoir JBS facility and have been so impressed with the care and attention to safety and community by the entire organization during these challenging times. We especially thank JBS for this new Hometown Strong investment.
