JBS USA Gift Will Support Upgrades to Moore County Hospital District Rehabilitation Department

JBS USA’s gift of $250,000 will support the Moore County Health Foundation Capital Campaign to raise funds to be used for equipment upgrades in the MCHD Rehabilitation Department, in the new patient care wing. MCHD serves the JBS USA beef facility and team members living in the large geographic area that includes Dumas, Cactus, Sunray and northern Potter County. The upgrades to the entrance facility will help in three major functional areas: outpatient/ambulatory surgery, physical, occupational and speech therapy services and obstetrical services.

Partner: Moore County Health Foundation, et al.

Thanks to the JBS USA and Pilgrim’s Hometown Strong initiative, Texas will have even more support and greater access to crucial resources as we respond to COVID-19. This $6.5 million investment will help strengthen community infrastructure, provide additional COVID-19 response and relief resources, and help alleviate food insecurity. I am grateful to JBS USA and Pilgrim’s for their commitment to supporting their hard working employees, as well as their communities.
