During the Beardstown Board of Education meeting held Dec. 17, Superintendent Ron Gilbert said some of the funds will go to a new digital scoreboard at the sports field. This will include all outdoor sports held there, not just football. It will also be applied to the acquisition of a new digital marquee for the school among other things.
