JBS grant funding $200K playground upgrade to Franconia park

Souderton (Pa.) Independent - FRANCONIA — When a planned upgrade to the playground in Franconia Community Park, including adding Americans with Disabilities Act access, is completed, all the children will be able to be play there. A $200,000 grant from JBS USA would pay for the work, Township Manager Jon Hammer said during the work session portion of the Franconia Township Board of Supervisors July 19 meeting. The meat packing company has a plant in Franconia.

JBS Meat Processing Company Commits $1.1M to Souderton Community Support

Times-Herald - SOUDERTON — JBS USA, parent company of the JBS Souderton meat processing operation, has announced a $216,627 contribution to the MontCo Anti-Hunger Network to purchase a distribution truck for the Food Resource Program, as well as provide financial support for the organization to operate for one year.
