JBS Foods Canada to Invest $300,000 to Build Houses in Brooks as Part of Hometown Strong Initiative

In October 2020, JBS Foods Canada announced a $2 million investment in Brooks, Alberta, Canada, to support the community’s future through the JBS Hometown Strong program. The company has been working with local leaders and organizations to determine how the funds can best help meet immediate and longer-term community needs. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta, JBS will provide $300,000 to help build an affordable duplex in Brooks. Two local families will have the opportunity to buy these homes with no down payment and no interest, and their mortgage payments will help fund future Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta projects.
